Hohenschild Welders Supply, a leading local full-service welding supply distributor, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Kansas City, MO. 

If you have experience working in a warehouse environment and operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks, Hohenschild wants to hear from you!

Minimum qualifications: 

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks 
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control processes 
• Customer Service Skills; communicating professionally and effectively with customers. 
• Ability to accurately track and manage stock levels 
• Proficient in order fulfillment procedures and packaging techniques 
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus 
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills 

Essential duties/responsibilities: 

• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks to move and transport materials within the warehouse 
• Perform inventory control tasks, including counting and tracking stock levels 
• Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment 
• Build and assemble product displays or packaging as needed 
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse 
• Assist with inside sales tasks (Helping customers, pulling/packing orders etc.)
