Gulf Coast Gas, a leading supplier of full-range specialized gases, is seeking a sales professional to join their team as a Sales Support Specialist in the Houston, TX area. 

If you have at least 2 years of sales support or customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, Gulf Coast Gas wants to hear from you!

Minimum qualifications: 

• 2+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or a related role. 
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.  
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Experience in the welding and gas industry is a plus but not required. 

Essential duties/responsibilities: 

• Provide administrative support to the sales team, including order processing, quote generation, and account management.  
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.  
• Assist in tracking and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability for customers.  
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and accounting, to facilitate order fulfillment and billing processes.  
• Maintain and update customer records, sales reports, and documentation in the CRM system.  
• Support marketing efforts by coordinating promotions, customer outreach, and event planning.  
• Resolve customer issues and escalate concerns as needed to the appropriate team members.  
• Assist in preparing sales presentations and proposals.
