OXARC, a regional leader in industrial gas and welding supply distribution, is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join the team at their Pasco, WA branch.   

If you have at least 2 – 5 years of sales experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license, OXARC wants to hear from you! Experience in the welding or gases industry is preferred but not required.

Requirements:  

• 2-5 years’ sales experience. 
• 2-5 years’ industry experience preferred.  
• Proven track record of accomplishments in closing deals and maintaining relationships.  
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.  
• Strong organizational and time management skills.  
• Strong negotiation skills; confidently and aggressively seek new business.  
• Flexible team-oriented individual.    
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.  
• Decision making and problem-solving capabilities.  
• Must be flexible with work hours depending on customer requirements and able to travel.  
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.  
• Must pass drug screen and background check.   

Essential duties/responsibilities: 

• Call on prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer / supplier relationship.  Solve customer problems/issues.   Customer deliveries as required.    
• Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by:  
• Developing technical presentations for potential customers.  
• Maintaining up-to-date awareness of latest products and their applications, company activities, industry trends & government regulations.  
• Establish sales goals with Branch Manager and Sales Manager.  Manage existing accounts and increase market share according to established goals.   
• Assist inside sales force and support staff as related to sales responsibilities.  
• Complete required paperwork in a detailed and timely manner.
