OXARC, a regional leader in industrial gas and welding supply distribution, is seeking a Backup CDL B Driver/Cylinder Filler to join the team in the Bend, OR area. 

If you have your CDL B with hazmat endorsement, customer service experience, and experience/knowledge of cylinder handling/filling, OXARC wants to hear from you!

Requirements: 

• 2 years customer service/sales experience 
• Good driving record with Class B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement. 
• Understanding of welding terminology and equipment is a plus.   
• Industry experience such as handling cylinders and/or previous knowledge of gases, cylinder filling procedures, paperwork, and plant operations. 
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.  
• Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.   
• Effective oral and written communication skills and basic customer service experience, training skills for in person, verbal and written training objectives. 
• Must be organized, have good reasoning skills, math aptitude, and time management skills. 
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet use. 
• Must pass DOT drug screen, physical and background check. 

Essential duties/responsibilities: 

• Perform route sales and deliveries as back up.  
• Accurate and timely completion of paperwork per FDA requirements. 
• Support Outside Sales personnel.   
• Put away cylinders from the dock. 
• Check cylinders for dates and damage. 
• Maintain pumps, vacuum, and liquid. 
• Keep outside storage area and lots clean and safe. 
• Night and weekend on-call as necessary.
