OXARC, a regional leader in industrial gas and welding supply distribution, is seeking a Cylinder Maintenance Technician to join the team in Pasco, WA. Day and swing shift positions are available. 

If you have general knowledge of hand tools and power tools, are able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, as well as excellent communication skills, OXARC wants to hear from you!

Requirements: 

• General knowledge of common hand tools, power tools and their proper use.  
• Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  
• Basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, and good math skills.   
• Good reading and writing skills. Able to read and comprehend technical manuals and government publications.  
• Able to work independently.  
• Able to lift/move 80 lbs.  
• Work Environment-some outside.  
• Able pass drug screen and background check.   

Essential duties/responsibilities: 

• Valve and de-valve cylinders. 
• Scrap labels to prepare for regular maintenance.  
• General maintenance of cylinders.  
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.  
• Attend Monthly Safety Meetings.  Work according to established safety procedures and promote safety with co-workers.  Inform supervisors of potential safety hazards.  
• Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits.  
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
